Our story

Depending on the translation, Masada means refuge, fortress, or strong foundation. All are appropriate, for here at Masada Ranch, we try and be as self-sufficient as possible in this beautiful place. We have raised and butchered our own beef, pork, and poultry for years.

Under intense peer pressure from friends that have tried our tasty meat, we decided to start selling small quantities of ground beef to the public.

Our values remain the same.

Raise animals humanely without chemicals, antibiotics, or GMO feed.

Livestock that live a comfortable, happy life just taste better.

It’s not cheap, but we believe in feeding our animals high-quality feed sourced from Idaho and Utah. This includes sprout pellets, horse-quality grass and alfalfa, and finishing on premium 3-way non-GMO grains.
